I like how everyone feels that they can impose their ideas on the
volunteers doing the work, and usually by invoking this nebulous
"community" that you claim to speak for. Of course volunteers will
have an "if we feel like it we'll do it" attitude. Why shouldn't
they, especially when all they ever get back from the "community"
(or those who have the audacity to claim that they are speaking
for it) is negativity?
I fail to understand why, if you don't like the way this particular
group of people does things, you don't go off and do it differently
yourself. There's nothing stopping you.
